The Round Square is a UK based organization, a worldwide network of innovative schools in 40 countries across five continents. The Round Square approach doesn’t focus on what is taught but rather how learning takes place. It recognizes that learning is most effective when it is practical, cross-cultural and collaborative, and when it is infused through a broad spectrum of inter, extra and co-curricula activities. This Round Square conference was hosted at the reputed Trivandrum International School, Trivandrum, India, in the Month of August 2014 and saw the participation of 10 Round Square Schools from India and abroad. This conference was based on the theme of the sixth IDEAL of the Round Square - Service and was thus named Beacon of Hope.
